Senior Administrator - Data & Reporting

About the role

Old Mutual is looking for a Senior Administrator in Pinelands who monitors, reviews and processes daily, weekly and monthly services so that stakeholders are held accountable for quality customer service. The role also covers reporting updates, data extraction, anomaly detection and exploratory data analysis, turning data into actionable insights to update customer collections and drive transaction resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Bank switches and robotics: attend to debit order update requests, partner with the RPA team and work with banking institutions, ensuring data accuracy and integrity with RPA and SFTP.
• Mailbox maintenance: monitor, service and clear queries, escalations and complaints.
• New World and Legacy: analyse, interpret, compile and distribute debit order and disbursement reports.
• Data analysis and reporting: extract and review data from internal sources, check data quality, interpret and present data internally and generate actionable insights.
• Stakeholder engagement: hold stakeholders accountable for processing, help with end-to-end solutions and coordinate data extractions for strategic projects.
• Collaboration: liaise with data delivery teams, work independently on routine tasks and manage own time and output quality.
• Log and drive to resolution BSRs and incidents.
• Additional duties: compile and update SOP documents, schedule stakeholder meetings and events, and support capability building through training and coaching.

Required profile

• Matriculation certificate (required).
• NQF Level 6 qualification would be advantageous.
• Experience with New World and Legacy products, processes and systems is a great advantage.
• Results and goal driven, reliable, initiative taking, with conceptual and analytical abilities.

• SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Alteryx, MS Access, YM & VTG, Eternity, CMoS, BaNCS and Qlink.
