Senior Accountant – Randburg

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead production accounting activities for high‑end clients, ensuring accurate financial statements and tax compliance. You will work closely with partners and the accounting team to deliver professional, high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and finalise annual financial statements for partner sign‑off.
• Prepare individual and corporate income tax returns.
• Review accounting, payroll and VAT work before submission.
• Check and mentor less‑experienced team members’ outputs.
• Participate in workflow scheduling, capacity planning and delegation as required.

Required profile

• Accounting degree (essential).
• Strong technical knowledge of taxation, accounting and payroll.
• SAIPA qualification desirable but not mandatory.
• Ability to handle a variety of entity types: sole proprietorships, partnerships, companies, close corporations, trusts and NGOs.
