About the role
The Learnership Programme offers unemployed South Africans the chance to gain a recognised occupational qualification in the private security industry. Participants will receive classroom‑based instruction at an accredited institute combined with practical, on‑the‑job training, preparing them to operate as professional Security Officers. The programme runs from 2026 to 2027 and aims to develop future leaders in security.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in classroom‑based learning at the institute.
- Complete on‑the‑job training as a Security Officer.
Required profile
- South African citizen, aged 18‑29, currently unemployed.
- Open to Black, Indian, and Coloured males and females; people with disabilities must provide proof of disability.
