About the role
Transnet company is looking for Security Guards to support terminal operations in Tembisa. The role involves opening and closing twist locks on container wagons and performing various ad‑hoc duties to ensure safety and efficiency at the site.
Key responsibilities
- Open and close twist locks of container wagons.
- Perform security and office tasks as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of buildings and containers.
- Assist with general terminal duties and support other operational teams.
Required profile
- Minimum education: Grade 10 or Level 2.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
- People‑oriented, safety‑conscious, and culturally aware.
- Good time management, reading, writing, and decision‑making abilities.
