Security Consultant – Sales Representative

About the role

This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your sales career by delivering specialised electronic security solutions to corporate clients in the Johannesburg area. You will work closely with a professional security firm, leveraging advanced technology to protect commercial, industrial and retail environments.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and connect with new commercial, industrial and retail business accounts daily.
• Conduct on‑site business risk and security vulnerability assessments for clients.
• Design custom integrated electronic security and cloud monitoring solutions.
• Pitch smart security proposals directly to corporate decision‑makers.
• Negotiate service agreements and installation terms with client management.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure flawless site deployment.
• Maintain accurate customer records within the company CRM system.

Required profile

• Valid Grade 12 certificate and South African driver’s licence.
• Current, valid PSIRA registration status.
• At least three years of experience selling electronic security or asset‑protection systems.
• Proven track record of cold calling, lead generation and meeting sales targets.
• Positive, driven attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
