Search Engine Optimization Manager

About the role

LegalBuzz is a fast‑growing platform that helps law firms appear in AI‑driven search results. We are looking for an experienced Search Engine Optimization Manager to own and grow a portfolio of legal‑sector client accounts, delivering end‑to‑end SEO strategy and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategy for 10+ client accounts, covering on‑page, off‑page and technical optimisation.
• Perform content optimisation, keyword targeting, internal linking and meta‑data updates.
• Lead link‑building, citation management, digital PR and authority‑building initiatives.
• Oversee technical SEO audits, Core Web Vitals, indexation issues and schema implementation with the development team.
• Conduct monthly client calls, present performance results, plans and recommendations.
• Handle day‑to‑day client requests and ad‑hoc calls.
• Write and edit SEO‑focused copy for landing pages, blogs and meta descriptions.
• Manage and mentor a Direct Marketing Assistant, delegating tasks and reviewing output.
• Report on key performance indicators, focusing on enquiry and lead generation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven SEO experience with measurable results.
• Experience managing 10+ client accounts simultaneously.
• Strong account‑management skills, comfortable leading client calls.
• Hands‑on ability across on‑page, off‑page and technical SEO.
• Copywriting experience for SEO content.
• Portfolio of SEO results you can discuss.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
