SCM Audit Reporting Specialist

About the role

The Airports Company South Africa is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management Audit Reporting Specialist to join the Corporate Office. The role focuses on ensuring compliance, managing risks and supporting audit activities across the Supply Chain Management division.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain controls to ensure adherence to legislation and effective operation of Business‑Critical Controls (BCCs).
• Review payment data from Finance linked to procurement processes.
• Provide information and support to security, legal, forensic and internal audit teams.
• Assist functional heads and procurement practitioners with compliance and risk‑management guidance.
• Act as primary liaison between auditors and internal teams, coordinating documentation and communications.
• Collect, organise and deliver financial records, policies and evidence, tracking outstanding requests.
• Manage complaints from internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver formal and informal training on audit outcomes and PFMA compliance.
• Compile, submit and present audit reports, tracking compliance and risk metrics.
• Conduct proactive internal audits and report PFMA violation findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BCom Accounting, BCom Law, Auditing) or LLB (NQF 8) – 360 credits.
• 6–8 years operational experience in governance, compliance management or auditing within a supply‑chain environment.
• Eligibility for Top Security Clearance within three months of appointment.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and strategic mindset.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of procurement principles and practices.
• CIPS accreditation or membership (advantageous).
