Sales Representative - Shop Fitting & Installation

About the role

An established company specialising in shop fitting, installations and the manufacture of customised products is looking for a Sales Representative in Johannesburg. The role suits a confident, target-driven person who enjoys working with people, finding new opportunities and growing a client base. The salary is to be confirmed.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business through proactive sales and lead generation.
• Visit prospective and existing clients to present products and services.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships and follow up on enquiries.
• Prepare quotations and help close sales, recommending suitable products and solutions.
• Promote the company's shop fitting, manufacturing and installation offerings.
• Maintain regular contact with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
• Conduct market research and manage the sales pipeline to turn leads into sales.
• Work with internal teams so client needs are met and projects are delivered as expected.
• Keep accurate records of client visits, sales activities and opportunities.

Required profile

• Previous sales or business development experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable travelling to meet clients; a valid driver's licence and own transport is advantageous.
• Proactive, commercially minded and able to build a network of contacts.
