Sales Representative, Joint Replacement – Limpopo

About the role

Stryker is looking for a Sales Representative for its Joint Replacement / Arthroplasty portfolio across the Limpopo territory. You will act as a trusted advisor to orthopedic surgeons and hospital stakeholders, combining clinical knowledge with consultative sales skills. The role reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is field-based, with about 70% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory business plan covering SWOT analysis, SMART objectives and contingency planning.
• Drive revenue growth by winning market share, closing complex deals and expanding key accounts in public and private sectors.
• Build relationships with surgeons, theatre teams, procurement and hospital leadership.
• Hold credible clinical and commercial discussions on Joint Replacement products, procedures and innovations.
• Provide in-theatre support, education and training.
• Use consultative selling to understand customer needs and position solutions.
• Support pricing, financing and tender processes with the Regional Sales Manager.
• Monitor competitors and market trends, and mentor junior sales colleagues.
• Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with ethics, quality and customer service standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of successful sales experience in an orthopedic portfolio; the role can be upgraded to a more senior level based on experience.
• Proven ability to manage a territory independently and close business.
• Established orthopedic network in Limpopo.
• Fluency in English and a valid driver's licence.
• Preferred: experience supporting tenders and complex procurement, and prior sales in the Arthroplasty / Joint Replacement portfolio.
