Salaried Financial Advisor

About the role

Old Mutual is hiring a salaried Financial Advisor in Polokwane who advises clients on a defined range of products for a specific allocated market and is individually accountable for achieving results. The role covers customer service, prospecting, business development and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service, process cases, handle complex queries and resolve customer problems
• Analyze customer problems and issues to find the best technical or professional solutions
• Receive visitors, refer complex matters to colleagues and schedule follow-ups entered into the CRM system
• Clarify customer needs, tailor presentations to decision-makers and influencers, and develop a relationship management plan for prospects
• Monitor and assess sales and market data for a specific region and attend business-sector events to promote the organization
• Research trends and themes using primary data sources and business intelligence tools
• Follow organizational policies, regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and obtain supervisor authorization for exceptions

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Valid driver's licence and own car
• FAIS compliance
• Clear criminal and credit check
• At least 3 years of working experience, preferably in sales
• NQF Level 5 qualification or equivalent

Required skills

• Computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills (an added advantage)
• Consultative selling, direct selling, prospecting and sales data management
