About the role

A well‑established distributor of specialised commercial vehicle equipment and cargo handling solutions is seeking an experienced, self‑driven Sales Representative to expand its footprint across South Africa, Zambia, and Botswana.

Key responsibilities

  • Grow the company’s presence in South Africa, Zambia and Botswana.
  • Build relationships from the workshop floor to the boardroom with end users and body builders.
  • Travel extensively, including cross‑border trips, to pursue new business opportunities.

Required profile

  • Matric; further qualifications advantageous.
  • Minimum 10 years’ sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Experience selling technical equipment to end users and body builders.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively, including cross‑border.

Required skills

  • Strong relationship‑building across all levels.
  • Effective pipeline management and structured follow‑up.
  • Well organised, self‑driven, able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Sound computer literacy (MS Office).
