Sales Representative – EC

About the role

The Sales Representative will manage and grow the existing client base in the Eastern Cape region while actively pursuing new business opportunities. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality customer service, meeting sales targets, and representing the brand across the province.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve volume and net‑profit targets by driving sales performance in the assigned region.
• Identify, develop and manage new business opportunities to expand market share.
• Report weekly and monthly to the Area Sales Manager on performance, strategic changes and forecasts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Conduct cold‑calling, prospect meetings and site acquisition activities, meeting daily/weekly call targets.
• Travel extensively throughout the Eastern Cape to meet clients and support sales initiatives.

Required profile

• Matric Certificate.
• 1‑3 years of sales experience, preferably in the fuel industry.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Strong sales background with a proven record of achieving targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Self‑starter with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage relationships and inspire team members.
• Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to a dynamic market environment.
