Sales Representative / Driver

About the role

TO Pack is expanding into the Western Cape and is looking for an energetic, hands-on Sales Representative / Driver to help establish and grow its presence in Cape Town. This is a dual-role position: you will generate new business, visit customers and close sales, while also assisting with deliveries and collections as the customer base grows. You will initially act as TO Pack's sales and operational representative in Cape Town.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new customers in Cape Town and surrounding industrial areas
• Cold call, arrange appointments and conduct customer visits
• Build relationships with procurement, operations, warehouse and business owners
• Identify packaging requirements and follow up on quotations to convert opportunities into orders
• Grow existing accounts with additional product lines
• Deliver customer orders, collect stock from suppliers and transporters, deliver samples and attend to urgent requests
• Assist with basic stock coordination and local operational needs
• Report sales activity, pipeline and customer feedback to management

Required profile

• Previous sales experience in packaging, FMCG, industrial supplies, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing
• Confident in cold calling and approaching new businesses
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, able to work independently
• Organised, able to manage both sales and deliveries, and physically capable of loading and offloading goods
• Good knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding industrial areas
• Valid driver's licence and professional manner

What we offer

• Basic salary of R12,500 plus sales commission (to be confirmed)
• Package based on experience and demonstrated sales ability
