Sales Representative (Automotive Aftermarket) – Port Elizabeth

About the role

A leading supplier in the automotive aftermarket is looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to join its Eastern Cape team. The role focuses on expanding market share, building strong customer relationships, and delivering high‑quality automotive solutions across the Port Elizabeth region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow customer accounts.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining profitability.
• Promote the use of electronic B2B catalogues and digital ordering platforms.
• Act as a brand ambassador through visits, product demonstrations, training sessions and marketing events.
• Conduct market research to track industry trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer and market data in the CRM system and ensure timely reporting.
• Educate customers on product benefits and applications to increase market penetration.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification plus a Certificate in Sales and Marketing Management.
• Minimum three years of sales experience within the automotive industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Sound knowledge of the Consumer Protection Act and relevant legislation.
• South African citizenship is mandatory.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience using a CRM system for data management.
