About the role
Our client, a national truck rental company, is looking for a proactive Sales Executive to drive fleet sales in the Port Elizabeth area. The role focuses on generating new leads, closing rental agreements, and nurturing client relationships to grow revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential customers for truck and fleet rentals.
- Conduct outbound outreach through calls and visits to generate qualified leads.
- Present product offerings, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.
- Maintain accurate sales records and update CRM systems.
- Provide ongoing support and service to existing clients.
- Gather market intelligence and report on competitor activity.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Proven experience in external sales, preferably within the transport or rental sector.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to meet targets and work independently.
- Willingness to undergo background checks as per client requirements.
Required skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Customer relationship management.
- Basic computer literacy for sales administration.
