Sales & Key Account Manager – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

Our client, an award‑winning luxury safari operator, is seeking a senior Sales and Key Account Manager to drive trade‑channel growth across its exclusive lodges and camps in Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The role combines strategic commercial leadership, data‑driven performance management and partner‑network activation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the annual trade enquiry volume target, designing and executing partner activation strategies to generate high‑quality leads.
• Develop and maintain a data‑backed channel strategy, managing P&L impacts of enquiry volume, conversion rates, ADR and gross profit.
• Ensure CRM data integrity (HubSpot), create Tableau dashboards and deliver performance narratives to senior leadership.
• Manage the top‑10 trade accounts, establishing GP targets, incentive frameworks and quarterly tiering reviews.
• Lead, coach and evaluate a team of Account Managers, setting KPIs aligned with revenue and pipeline health.

Required profile

• Proven experience in luxury travel or high‑end hospitality sales, with a strong commercial acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to build and optimise performance frameworks and analytics models.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing board‑level discussions.
• Track record of managing key accounts and leading sales teams to exceed targets.
