Sales Consultant

About the role

The Garden Venue is seeking a full‑time Sales Consultant to join its on‑site team in Randburg. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, guiding them through venue tours and matching their event needs with the right spaces and packages.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound inquiries and schedule venue tours.
• Present suitable event spaces, packages and pricing.
• Prepare, present and negotiate quotations to close bookings.
• Maintain accurate lead and booking records in the CRM system.
• Coordinate hand‑over of confirmed events to operations and events teams.
• Follow up with clients to drive conversions and nurture repeat business.
• Support promotional activities and contribute ideas to improve sales processes.

Required profile

• Proven sales consulting experience, including prospecting, needs analysis, solution presentation and closing.
• Strong customer‑service focus with the ability to build trust and long‑term relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in events, hospitality or venue sales is highly beneficial.
• Ability to manage multiple inquiries and bookings simultaneously.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Relevant qualification in sales, hospitality, business or a related field is an advantage.
