Sales and Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales and Service Technician to join our team in Nelspruit. The role combines customer‑facing sales activities with technical installation, verification and after‑sales support for food weighing scales and related equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell food weighing scales, automatic wrapping machines, printers, software, spares and consumables to retail customers.
• Conduct cold‑calling, visit new prospects, deliver product demonstrations and maintain existing customer relationships.
• Perform installations, verifications, servicing, repairs and deliveries of equipment on site.
• Provide customer training on product use and assist with help‑desk support.
• Support stock counts, office administration tasks and assist with cash collections and deposits.

Required profile

• Sales Diploma, Electrical Trade Red Seal, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, IT Network certification or Qualified Verification Officer qualification.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
• Willingness to travel locally within the Nelspruit area.
