About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a salaried Financial Advisor for its MFC division in the Botshabelo area, serving the Thaba Nchu market. The role involves providing professional advice on a range of financial products, delivering high-quality customer service and contributing to business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on designated financial products to an allocated market and achieve individual sales targets.
• Deliver quality customer service, process cases, handle complex queries and resolve customer issues.
• Analyze customer problems to propose appropriate technical or professional solutions.
• Receive and assist visitors, directing complex matters to colleagues as needed.
• Enter follow-up actions and relevant data into the CRM system after each customer contact.
• Set clear objectives for sales calls, tailor presentations and gather information to assess customer interest.
• Develop and implement relationship management plans for prospective accounts, building networks with decision‑makers.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory codes, obtaining supervisor approval for any exceptions.
• Monitor sales and market data for the assigned geographic region to identify development opportunities.
• Represent Old Mutual at sector events, gather market intelligence and enhance the company’s visibility.
