About the role
Our client, a well‑established professional accounting firm in the Overberg area of the Western Cape, is seeking a SAIPA Clerk for a three‑year training contract. The role offers practical experience in bookkeeping, tax preparation and statutory compliance in line with SAIPA training regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform full bookkeeping and accounting functions for clients.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and income‑tax calculations.
- Compile annual financial statements and related working papers.
- Handle statutory compliance duties and respond to client queries.
- Carry out general administrative tasks as required.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a BCom Accounting degree or a related qualification.
- Willingness to commit to a three‑year SAIPA training contract.
- Excellent time‑management, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proactive, dependable and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
