About the role
Absolute Pets, a retailer of premium pet foods and accessories with over 200 stores across South Africa, is looking for a passionate and driven sales assistant to join its team at a growing store in Somerset West. The company trains candidates on all its products.
Key responsibilities
- Provide customers with world-class service
- Keep the store fully stocked and place orders accordingly
- Handle administration and use IT systems
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Required profile
- Matric or equivalent
- One year of retail or sales experience (advantageous)
- Ability to work flexible retail hours
- Hardworking, reliable, trustworthy and dependable
- Passion for retail and for animals
Required skills
- Verbal communication skills
- Ability to carry and pack stock
- Knowledge of administration and IT systems
