About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager/Maître d’ to lead our front‑of‑house team in Cape Town. You will ensure smooth daily operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including guest greeting, seating, and reservation management.
• Supervise waitstaff, bussers, and service flow, ensuring high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and management to guarantee seamless service.
• Monitor stock, wastage, and operational requirements.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and maintain compliance with health and safety policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or Maître d’.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional appearance, calm demeanor, and ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Hospitality qualification or relevant experience is advantageous.
