Remote Recruiter – South Africa

About the role

Sweet Robo is expanding rapidly and needs a proactive recruiter to source talent worldwide. Based in South Africa and working fully remote, you will own the end‑to‑end search process for a variety of roles across sales, marketing, engineering, operations and more.

Key responsibilities

• Own sourcing for current and upcoming positions, building pipelines across multiple regions.
• Actively search on LinkedIn, niche communities, referrals, competitor mapping and other channels.
• Craft outreach messages that generate responses and follow up consistently.
• Conduct first‑screening calls to assess English proficiency, experience, motivation and cultural fit.
• Deliver concise shortlists with clear notes to hiring managers.
• Maintain candidate data in the hiring platform and keep pipelines up‑to‑date.
• Coordinate interview schedules across time zones and keep candidates informed.
• Provide market feedback on talent availability, salary expectations and sourcing trends.
• Track personal metrics such as outreach volume, response rates, screens and hires.

Required profile

• 2+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience, either agency or in‑house.
• Proven track record recruiting internationally, not limited to a single market.
• Excellent written and spoken English – you are the first impression of the company.
• Strong sourcing expertise with demonstrable tools and tactics.
• Sound judgment to differentiate between a good interview and a good hire.
• Highly organized, self‑driven and able to meet targets with minimal supervision.
• Reliable home‑office setup: stable internet, quiet space, headset and camera.
• Based in South Africa and able to overlap with U.S. business hours.
