Remote Data Researcher (US Accounting & Legal Leads)

About the role

A specialized recruitment and advisory agency connecting talent with organizations in the US accountancy, finance, tax and audit sectors is looking for a Data Researcher. The role is central to the firm's growth strategy: discovering corporate targets, decision-makers and prospective talent, then turning raw market data into structured CRM records. It is 100% remote, under an Independent Contractor Agreement, with full-time UK business hours, holidays as agreed and a fixed salary of R10,000 ZAR per month.

Key responsibilities

• Use LinkedIn search parameters and Google search techniques to identify target firms in the US legal and public accounting sectors.
• Log new corporate entities into the internal CRM, following standardized data formatting rules.
• Research and map key client contacts and prospective candidates, building full profiles with name, verified email, location/zip code, job title and industry segment.
• Enrich contact records and verify accuracy using B2B intelligence platforms such as ZoomInfo and other research software.
• Support lead generation by researching candidates on LinkedIn and in the CRM, syncing data across email platforms and CRM tools for outreach campaigns.
• Maintain daily and weekly output to meet target activity metrics for database expansion.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data research, web research, market intelligence or administrative support.
• Hands-on experience with recruitment software, sales CRMs or database management systems.
• Understanding of or exposure to the US public accounting or legal corporate landscape.
• Strong written communication, attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to understand complex data requirements and apply logical criteria to research workflows.
• Organized and able to meet consistent activity and volume targets.

Required skills

• Familiarity with B2B research tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or email finder applications.
• CRM and database management.
