Remote Community Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Remote Community Manager to lead and grow city‑specific Facebook groups for racket sports across our launch markets. The role blends strategic community building with disciplined operational execution, supporting players to connect, discover events, and find playing partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, moderate, and expand Facebook groups focused on tennis, pickleball, and padel in multiple cities.
• Publish weekly programming recommendations, events, and newsletters following a strict content cadence.
• Review daily user posts to maintain a safe, active, and engaging community environment.
• Drive player‑to‑player interactions and encourage organic connections.
• Track basic engagement metrics such as group growth, post activity, and response rates.
• Identify high‑quality local programs or events to share with members.
• Escalate promising B2B opportunities (clubs, coaches, notable players) to the internal team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in community management, social media operations, or Facebook Group moderation.
• Exceptional written English with a welcoming, community‑focused tone.
• Strong operational discipline to follow weekly cadences, manage spreadsheets, and track metrics.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask across multiple city‑specific groups.

Required skills

• Facebook Groups / Meta Business Suite (advanced moderation and analytics).
• Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Excel/Sheets for tracking).
• Internal communication tools such as Slack or WhatsApp.
