Relationship Manager – High Value Clients (SBS)

About the role

The Relationship Manager – SBS will serve Nedbank’s high‑value client segment, including professionals and financially affluent households. The role focuses on delivering tailored banking solutions, building trusted relationships, and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and deliver banking products and services to the SBS client segment, meeting targets recorded in client management systems.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of complex, high‑value clients through proactive engagement and needs analysis.
• Identify sales and solution opportunities, collaborate with specialist teams, and cross‑sell value‑added services.
• Ensure compliance with risk, credit, and regulatory policies, and facilitate client adherence to internal standards.
• Respond to client requests within agreed timelines and resolve obstacles, escalating when necessary.
• Contribute to the improvement of policies, procedures, and operational processes.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of business, personal and household banking needs of affluent clients.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough financial needs analysis and present appropriate solutions.
• Commitment to compliance, risk management and high service standards.
