Relationship Analyst – Credit & Client Risk Management

About the role

Join the First National Bank talent team as a Relationship Analyst, where you will support the business by conducting in‑depth credit analysis to evaluate lending risks. Your insights will help shape responsible financial solutions that align with the broader client relationship strategy and promote sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse credit data to estimate risk levels for extending credit or lending money.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience in line with Balanced Scorecard standards.
• Identify and maximise cross‑sell opportunities to strengthen client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, audit and governance requirements, including the National Credit Act.
• Manage data effectively, attending to expired limits against set targets.
• Prepare credit proposals for review by the Credit Product House.
• Follow the Golden Rules procedures and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Commerce or Business Banking degree.
• 3‑5 years of banking experience.
• Willingness to undergo a credit record check as required by the NCA.

• Attention to detail and technology savviness.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and solve customer problems.
