Financial Adviser – Potchefstroom/Klerksdorp (North West)

About the role

The role involves delivering professional financial advice, planning and product solutions to both new and existing clients while building lasting relationships that reinforce the Sanlam brand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional financial advice, planning and product solutions to new and existing clients.
• Generate and sustain high‑quality business in line with revenue and activity targets.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships, ensuring loyalty to the Sanlam brand.
• Conduct networking, prospecting and lead generation through face‑to‑face and social channels.
• Perform client consultations, fact‑finding and financial needs analysis using e‑tools or para‑planner support.
• Deliver compliant client service, follow‑up queries and continuously update client records.
• Monitor and report weekly/monthly on contacts, appointments, revenue and client data.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• FAIS “Fit and Proper” status and successful completion of the regulatory examination.
• Registration with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority for at least 24 months.
• Knowledge of financial advice, production target achievement, compliance and risk management.
• Strong client relationship management and financial planning capabilities.
• Personal attributes: effective communication, tech‑savvy, action‑oriented, persuasive and interpersonal skills.
