Regional Sales Manager (Gauteng)

Hollard Life Solutions is recruiting a Regional Sales Manager for its division, based in Parktown, Gauteng. The role is central to the company's win-win-win philosophy, which creates value for clients, advisers, employees and shareholders. The manager drives sustainable business growth, builds high-performing teams, develops strategic market relationships and ensures the region runs efficiently, profitably and compliantly. The position reports to the Head of Affluent Sales Intermediaries.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard new productive brokers and partnerships, and maintain and build relationships with supporting and potential supporters.
• Support and drive projects and campaigns, and escalate relevant complaints and constraints to internal partners.
• Manage operational expenses to reduce wastage and increase productivity.
• Coach, mentor and teach staff so each team member performs at their best, and recognise and reward achievements.
• Encourage creativity and innovation, and hold open, honest team discussions to solve problems at root cause and promote learning and growth.
• Monitor sales activities daily, manage the pipeline to keep sufficient sales stock, and monitor final offer implementation to improve the conversion ratio.
• Monitor consultant adviser panel activities to work with advisers who consistently support the business.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years' experience in the insurance industry, including at least 5 years in sales leadership, management or mentoring roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Management or a related field.
• Regulatory Examination (RE) qualification.
