Regional Group Financial Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading player in the Data Center Infrastructure and Engineering sector, is seeking a Regional Group Financial Manager to oversee financial operations across African entities. Based in Midrand, Johannesburg, you will be responsible for establishing new entities, managing monthly billing, and ensuring robust financial reporting and controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the financial and administrative setup of new African entities, coordinating with legal, tax, and accounting advisors.
• Design and maintain standardized monthly billing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual terms.
• Implement a consistent monthly financial reporting pack, consolidate results, and provide dashboards for senior management.
• Establish and monitor financial controls, segregation of duties, and compliance with Group policies.
• Coordinate tax and statutory compliance across jurisdictions, managing filing calendars and liaising with authorities.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, intercompany funding, and treasury controls for the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA or equivalent preferred.
• 5–8 years of financial management experience, preferably across multiple African jurisdictions.
• Proven experience setting up new legal entities and managing in‑country accounting teams or external service providers.
• Strong knowledge of monthly management accounting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
