Recruitment Outsourcing Specialist (Accounting/Legal)

About the role

D2B is a recruitment and advisory agency connecting talent with organisations in the accountancy, finance, tax and audit sectors, and also offers advisory services in legal, HR, creative media and executive management. It is hiring a Recruitment Outsourcing Specialist (Candidate Engagement & Resourcing Consultant) in Johannesburg, working 100% remotely under an Independent Contractor Agreement. The role acts as the first point of contact for active industry talent, turning candidate interest into meaningful conversations and connecting them with opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily targeted searches on recruitment platforms such as Indeed to find recently active accounting and legal talent.
• Craft and send tailored messages to prospective candidates about career paths and market opportunities.
• Respond quickly to candidate inquiries and run warm phone screenings to understand their needs and motivations.
• Ask targeted questions to gather current roles, technical skills, qualifications, salary expectations, preferred work arrangements and notice periods.
• Present the firm's value proposition clearly and professionally.
• Document candidate details in the company CRM and hand them over to Senior Consultants for placement.
• Maintain daily and weekly activity targets for messaging, calls and qualified introductions.

Required profile

• Prior experience in recruitment, sourcing, talent acquisition and account management is beneficial.
• Experience recruiting in public accounting, legal or professional services sectors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to hold professional phone interviews.
• Natural ability to build rapport quickly with passive and active job seekers.
• Highly organised, goal-oriented and comfortable with clear performance metrics.

Required skills

• Tech-savvy, able to learn ATS and CRM systems quickly.
• Effective use of online recruitment platforms.

Pay is stated as R20,000 per month, subject to the client's discretion based on skills and experience; working hours follow UK/US business hours and the start date is ASAP.
