Recruitment & Compliance Consultant

About the role

The Recruitment & Compliance Consultant will oversee the end‑to‑end registration, coordination and compliance onboarding of candidates for a leading social‑care provider. Working from the Cape Town office, you will ensure candidates move smoothly from initial application to a “ready to work” status, ready for final compliance checks.

Key responsibilities

• Review CVs against vacancy requirements and shortlist suitable candidates.
• Contact candidates, progress their registrations and schedule interviews.
• Conduct or coordinate candidate interviews.
• Provide continuous support and updates to candidates throughout the onboarding journey.
• Obtain and chase PVGs, references, statutory safety records and other compliance documentation.
• Arrange required training and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Advance candidates to the “ready to work” stage for the Compliance Officer’s final review.

Required profile

• Proven experience reviewing CVs, sourcing talent and conducting interviews.
• Direct experience managing end‑to‑end candidate onboarding and registration.
• Demonstrated ability to collect compliance documentation, background references and PVGs.
• Excellent organisational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to work UK business hours (08:00‑17:00) and to be based full‑time in the Cape Town office.

• Permanent, full‑time position with a competitive salary of R35,000‑R40,000 per month (flexible based on experience).
