About the role
The City of Johannesburg is offering an urgent internship in its Development Planning Department, assisting the records and archives session within Building Development Management. The aim is to help organise the records and archives section so that building plan applications can be filled in and retrieved easily. Only City of Johannesburg residents will be considered.
Key responsibilities
- File, maintain and access records of building plan applications and associated correspondence.
- Perform ad-hoc duties delegated by the Operations Manager, providing timely support to the manager or Assistant Director so they receive professional support in achieving the unit's delivery objectives.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (NQF level 4) plus a relevant NQF level 6 qualification, such as a Diploma in Archives and Records Management.
- No experience required.
- Unemployed graduate (most internships require this).
- Resident of the City of Johannesburg.
