Receiving Controller

About the role

ACDC Dynamics, a manufacturer, importer and distributor of products in the electrical, electronics, pumps and tools industry, is looking for an experienced and dynamic Receiving Controller in Edenvale, Gauteng. The role accepts and processes deliveries, verifies items, unloads trucks, ensures goods are stored correctly and handles returns.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor reports so that every line per shipment is verified and allocated to the right area within 24 hours.
• Check that all back orders and IBTs have been picked as quickly as possible.
• Assist with discrepancies, international and local, making sure they are raised correctly according to company procedure and submitted on time.
• Assist with stock takes and provide training to staff where possible.
• Ensure all GRNs are processed promptly and handle daily, weekly and monthly reporting.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
• Physical dexterity and experience operating forklifts.

Required skills

• Computer skills and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs.
• Basic math skills.
