Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Manager – Gqeberha

About the role

The Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Manager will lead daily operations of the QSR division in Gqeberha, ensuring high standards of customer service, food quality, profitability and compliance with health, safety and legislative requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage opening and closing procedures and ensure accurate execution.
• Implement pricing policies and drive operational efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping and presentation standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, resolve complaints and promote loyalty programmes.
• Supervise, motivate, coach and develop QSR staff.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new employees.
• Manage employee schedules, attendance and foster teamwork.
• Oversee stock ordering, receiving, storage, rotation and conduct regular stock counts.
• Minimise waste, monitor food cost percentages and control operational expenses.
• Drive daily sales and profitability targets, manage cash handling and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Prepare operational and performance reports and maintain accurate documentation.
