Quality Controller – Food Manufacturing (Shift)

About the role

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a Quality Controller to ensure that all raw materials, incoming vehicles, and finished products meet strict food safety and quality standards. The role involves hands‑on testing, documentation, and collaboration with production and customer service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials and vehicles against specifications and food safety requirements.
• Record findings during receiving and monitor product quality throughout storage and production.
• Conduct shelf‑life, pH, Brix, and organoleptic tests on samples.
• Verify that the Certificate of Analysis matches the product before release.
• Send product samples for microbial analysis and compile product specifications.
• Handle customer queries, report non‑conforming products, and coordinate rework.
• Investigate findings, release stock when appropriate, and participate in internal quality and food‑safety audits.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Food Technology or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience handling fresh fruit and vegetables in a food‑manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work shift patterns.
