Quality and Food Safety Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Quality and Food Safety Specialist to lead the implementation and maintenance of our Food Safety and Quality Management Systems across the business. The successful candidate will champion continuous improvement, audit readiness and a strong food‑safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and align the Food Safety Management System nationally with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 and local legislation.
• Maintain the Quality Management System and act as Food Safety & Quality Team Leader.
• Develop, update and control procedures, policies and statutory compliance documents.
• Prepare sites for internal and external audits and liaise with outsourced service providers.
• Manage corrective action requests (CAR), customer complaints and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Monitor operational trends affecting quality and food safety and drive improvement projects.
• Lead change‑management processes and review meetings to ensure system effectiveness.

Required profile

• Qualification in Quality Assurance, Food Technology or a related discipline.
• Proven experience with Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Deep understanding of food‑safety standards, legislation and audit processes.
• Passion for continuous improvement and compliance.
