Python Developer – Flask & AWS

About the role

The Linkage platform is a multi‑tenant SaaS solution that connects corporates with SMMEs. We are building a new internal development team and need a Python Flask developer to design, deploy and maintain services on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Flask‑based micro‑services hosted on AWS Fargate and ECS.
• Collaborate daily with an outsourced team of developers under the guidance of the CTO.
• Improve application performance, integrate new business logic and reduce operational costs.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience building Flask services, preferably on AWS.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.

Required skills

• Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, boto3.
• PostgreSQL and efficient query writing.
• AWS services (Fargate, ECS, RDS) and Serverless framework.
• Version control with Git.
