Purchasing Coordinator – Remote (USA Healthcare, EST Hours)

About the role

We are looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement operations for US‑based long‑term care and skilled nursing facilities. The role is fully remote and works EST business hours, handling purchase orders, non‑catalogue tickets, equipment rentals and invoice processing.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review purchase orders from healthcare facilities, ensuring budget compliance, availability and alignment with purchasing trends before processing.
• Manage tickets for non‑catalogue items by communicating with facilities, sourcing products, obtaining approvals and completing purchases.
• Monitor equipment rentals, track usage, maintain minimum rental levels and coordinate timely returns.
• Process electronic invoices, match them to purchase orders, sync with accounting software and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Knowledge of purchasing or procurement processes, preferably within healthcare (LTC or SNF) environments.
• Experience navigating procurement systems and general software applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
