Purchasing Coordinator – Remote (USA Healthcare, EST Hours)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement operations for U.S.-based long‑term care and skilled nursing facilities. The role works on Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours, providing end‑to‑end purchasing oversight, ensuring cost control, compliance, and timely sourcing across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review purchase orders from healthcare facilities, verify budget compliance, availability, and alignment with purchasing trends before processing.
• Manage tickets for non‑catalogue items, source products, obtain ownership approval, and complete purchases.
• Monitor equipment rentals, track usage, prevent misuse, maintain minimum rental levels, and coordinate returns.
• Process electronic invoices, match them to purchase orders, sync with accounting software, and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Knowledge of purchasing or procurement processes, preferably within healthcare settings.
• Experience with long‑term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facilities is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with reliable internet (minimum 25 Mbps) and power backup.
