Pull Manager, SSA, Steam

About the role

This Pull Manager role sits within an end-to-end Value Stream operating model built around four value streams, designed to support customers from opportunity through execution. It covers steam services and focuses on pull management execution, SQDC performance and customer commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for assigned customer service leaders and sales teams on pull management execution for their station or customer group.
• Own end-to-end SQDC performance for the assigned scope, managing fulfillment and resolving bottlenecks to protect customer commitments.
• Lead daily pull management independently, resolving fulfillment issues, escalations and non-standard requests.
• Work with Sales and Customer Service to set expectations and give transparency on lead times, status and OTD risks.
• Identify operational trends and lead targeted process improvements to improve productivity and fulfillment flow.
• Ensure transactional accuracy across the fulfillment chain, including documentation, system inputs and cross-functional coordination.
• Act as an internal consultant for assigned customers, using deep process knowledge to handle complex fulfillment challenges.
• Build stakeholder relationships so material availability aligns with customer needs.

Required profile

• Significant experience in customer-facing supply chain, order fulfillment or logistics management.
• Proven ability to work independently, solve complex problems and manage high-stakes customer relationships.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to balance urgent operational demands with long-term process improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced understanding of fulfillment processes, SQDC metrics and order-to-cash workflows.
• Working knowledge of Steam Services tools such as OSERP and NEX.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
