Public Works Graduate Internships – 60 Posts across Limpopo

About the role

The Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure is offering a 24‑month graduate internship programme for unemployed South African graduates. Interns will be placed across six districts and the head office, working in properties & facilities, GIS, roads maintenance, and infrastructure management.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations in property and facilities management, including real estate and horticulture tasks.
• Assist with GIS data collection, analysis and mapping for district projects.
• Participate in road maintenance activities, such as inspections, repairs and reporting.
• Contribute to infrastructure management projects, including electrical, civil and construction engineering tasks.

Required profile

• Unemployed South African graduate with a National Diploma or Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Real Estate, Property Science, GIS, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Studies, Building Science, Quantity Surveying, Horticulture, Landscaping).
• Must not have previously participated in any Public Service Graduate Internship Programme.
