Provincial Financial Consumer Educator

About the role

Standard Bank Group is looking for a Provincial Financial Consumer Educator in Johannesburg. The role supports the implementation of the regulated Consumer Financial Education (CFE) strategy, which aims to give individuals and communities the knowledge, skills and confidence to make informed financial decisions. It also helps the bank align with the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act's Financial Sector Code (FSC) and FSCA requirements for Consumer Financial Education.

Required profile

• First degree in Education (NQF Level 7, such as BSc, BCom or BA).
• 3-5 years of experience delivering financial education through blended learning, face-to-face and digital, leading to knowledge transfer, attitude shifts and behavioural change.
• In-depth knowledge of the Consumer Financial Education landscape in South Africa.
• Understanding of the legislation on CFE and experience with the B-BBEE Act's Financial Sector Code (specifically GN500), the FSCA's CFE Standards and the National Treasury's CFE Strategy.
