Skills Trainer - Western Cape

About the role

KFC Rohloff Group is looking for a Skills Trainer in the Western Cape to grow and empower team members and Shift Supervisors. You will lead learning and development initiatives across your area, covering FOH, MOH, BOH, Lobby Hosts, Training Ambassadors, LTOs and ad hoc training, and support Shift Supervisor development through LAS and other programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Make sure all training programme requirements and objectives are met for team members and Shift Supervisors in your area
• Deliver operational campaigns and functional master classes to support standards at team member and Shift Supervisor level
• Help with in-store recruitment and support RGMs with orientation and training of new team members
• Keep team member inductions up to date and ensure certifications are completed within 75 days
• Onboard and train new managers, and follow up training plans for managers from LAS and team members
• Drive LTO completion on VAULT in the area and support new store openings (recruitment, team member training, equipment training, forecasting)
• Keep the KFC culture alive through CX representatives and Culture Captains, and update the casual list weekly

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12
• Formal qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent (advantageous)
• At least 2 to 5 years' experience in learning and development within QSR; QSR experience is advantageous
• RM or RGM certification
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport

Required skills

• Proficient with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and management skills
• Strong planning and organisational skills and ability to self-manage
