Project Planner / Scheduler – Rustenburg

About the role

Our client, a leading construction and steel‑fabrication company, is looking for an experienced Project Planner / Scheduler to drive the planning and scheduling of multiple projects. You will work independently in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring that all project information is accurate and up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Projects.
• Coordinate timelines, milestones and deliverables across various teams.
• Track progress, identify delays and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Prepare progress reports and schedule forecasts for management.
• Maintain project documentation, registers and reporting structures.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers and site teams to gather accurate data.
• Support planning meetings, progress reviews and schedule presentations.
• Assist with project controls, risk identification and timeline management.
• Interpret construction and steel‑fabrication drawings, fabrication timelines and installation sequences.

Required profile

• Strong experience using Microsoft Projects (non‑negotiable).
• Background as a Project Planner / Scheduler in construction, steel fabrication or a related environment.
• Solid understanding of project lifecycles, timelines and deliverables.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and drawings.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Rustenburg.
