Project Manager – Oracle Fusion Cloud Implementation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation projects for our client in Johannesburg. The role involves full‑cycle project management, from defining objectives to ensuring successful hand‑over, while working on‑site with minimal remote days.

Key responsibilities

• Define project objectives, scope, timelines, budgets and required resources.
• Lead planning, execution and delivery of each project stage, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget performance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including IT, RAN, Microwave, FTTH, facilities and external subcontractors.
• Conduct risk assessments, mitigation planning and quality assurance.
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers, monitor sub‑contractor performance, and manage accounting, costing and billing.
• Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, senior managers and client governance bodies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex IT and telecom projects, preferably Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMI, PRINCE2 and Agile.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
