Project Manager – Civil Construction (Mining)

About the role

ProVest Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil construction projects within the mining sector. Based at the head office in Rustenburg, the role involves overseeing project activities, ensuring safety compliance, and travelling to other provinces as required.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute monthly and daily production and safety plans for the assigned section.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and milestones.
• Allocate resources, assign tasks, and manage budgets.
• Monitor project expenditure and ensure delivery within approved budgets.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and ensure compliance with company values and client procedures.
• Promote a safe working environment, conduct risk assessments, and investigate incidents.

Required profile

• Grade 12/Standard 10 with a Supervisory Certificate of Competency.
• Minimum two years of project management experience in mining and construction.
• Medical fitness, clean criminal record, and a valid driver’s licence (preferably C1).
• Registration with SACPCMP is advantageous.
