Project Management Associate (Remote, South Africa)

About the role

GenSigma is seeking a Project Management Associate to coordinate and support IT services, staffing, and technology projects. This remote position is based in South Africa and works closely with clients, internal delivery teams, and leadership to ensure smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day project activities across IT services, staffing, and technology initiatives.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, delivery teams, and leadership.
• Support project planning, task tracking, timelines, documentation, and follow‑ups.
• Participate in client calls, requirement discussions, status meetings, and internal reviews.
• Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and pending actions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, meeting notes, status reports, and trackers.
• Follow up with stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Assist in preparing project reports, dashboards, proposals, and client communications.
• Identify delays, risks, or coordination gaps and escalate when necessary.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Delivery, Recruitment, Operations, and Leadership.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, PMO, client coordination, or delivery support.
• Strong communication skills for confident interaction with clients and internal teams.
• Good understanding of project tracking, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow‑ups, and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and presentation abilities.
• Self‑driven, organized, and detail‑oriented with solid problem‑solving skills.
