About the role
The Project Administrator will provide logistical, administrative and reporting support to the project team within Nedbank's Personal and Private Banking division. This fixed‑term position ensures smooth project operations and contributes to the bank’s transformation and cultural initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update project data, tracking and feedback in the central database.
- Manage procurement of office consumables and ensure timely communication to stakeholders.
- Archive and file project artefacts in line with governance and audit standards.
- Collect status updates from internal and external stakeholders and collate feedback.
- Assist the project team with ad‑hoc requests to meet deliverables.
- Perform quality checks on documents to meet agreed standards.
- Support Nedbank culture‑building and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Required profile
- Matric / Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) – minimum.
- At least 1 year of general administration experience; 1‑2 years in project coordination or administration is advantageous.
- Strong customer focus, collaborative mindset and ability to work within Nedbank’s values.
- Awareness of relevant legislation and industry changes.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using spreadsheets and databases for data analysis.
- Business writing skills.
