Programme & Partnership Officer - Conservation

About the role

The Programme & Partnership Officer will lead the development and management of institutional, corporate, foundation and trust funding while ensuring effective delivery of conservation programmes. This strategic position bridges fundraising with programme implementation, translating donor commitments into high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and qualify new funding opportunities across institutional, corporate, foundation and trust sectors.
• Develop high‑quality grant proposals, budgets and log‑frames.
• Build and maintain a diversified funding pipeline to secure multi‑year partnerships.
• Coordinate internal systems to deliver projects on time, within budget and in compliance with donor requirements.
• Set up and maintain grant management, compliance records and accountability frameworks.
• Monitor operational risks and flag any delivery or compliance issues.
• Manage donor relationships, provide stewardship and produce timely impact reports.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sustainability & Impact, Marketing and regional Country Teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in institutional or foundation fundraising, grant writing and pipeline management.
• Strong proposal writing ability, including development of logical frameworks.
• Demonstrated project management skills with a focus on compliance and risk mitigation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
